Belize Travel Guide Belize-Attractions.com
Welcome to my Belize travel guide. I am sure some of the Belize attractions here will appeal to you. Whether it’s a quiet vacation you are looking for or an adventurous one like mine, the destinations listed here cater for both. It depends on if you are trucking it like we did or if you plan to spend your vacation at one or two locations as a base and use the tours on offer to visit the sites. Which ever it is I hope you enjoy your trip. Many of you will be looking for no.1 of the Belize attractions; the Mayan Temples. They are listed on their own because there are quite a few. I will start the Belize Travel Guide with a description of the Hidden Valley Falls. It merits first place because I am a water baby at heart and this place was just awe inspiring.
You just seem to come across them all of a sudden as you travel through the pine forests along yellow clay type road ways. The rainy season was just ending when we…….page coming soon!
Not far from these water falls you come across another spectacular water display. The five Sisters Falls. You feel you are in paradise and look! Someone else felt the same way. There is a little restaurant and café at the top of some steep winding steps where you can sit and just drink in the sheer beauty as you relax over a coffee or cool drink. You never know, it could prove to be a very special place if you unexpectedly bump into some close friends as we did, and in the middle of nowhere. No Belize travel guide arranged this meeting. This rendezvous was made in heaven! :-)
The Community Baboon sanctuary is another place with that there was some excitement. More on that later!
The tour is an educational one. You will learn about the Baboons and there habits as you hear them “roaring in the canopy above”. Yes roaring is the sound they made. The Guide also points out other wild life in the forest and some inventive ways the local natives used the faun and flora there.

The Belize Travel Guide will be updated as they appear. Keep posted by clicking on the little orange rss button. A Piece of Paradise Some of you are looking for something rather special. A hidden oasis! A little piece of paradise for yourself. Visit Belize and you won`t be disappointed! There are lots of hidden beauty spots that are off the beaten track, which you won`t find teaming with tourists and without a place to dip your toes. But are still , quiet seclusions where you will hear only the call of the howler monkey, or the whistle of blackbirds amongst the dawn chorus.

Eco-tourism Belize tourism is still in it’s infancy and so the country has stayed relatively unspoiled. As the tourist industry grows it is going to have an impact on the naturalness of Belize, so I am a advocate of Eco tourism and will help my visitors appreciate this beautiful country too by giving tips here and there on how to protect this environment.
